There is (was?) a reference site I used fairly often. I never bookmarked it because it was usually in the top five of my Google searches. I couldn't find it today. I seem to recall that "vintage" and "uk" were in the site name. It was a collection of reference materials on vintage guitars generally based on catalog specs. For Guilds they were only as accurate as the catalog but I used them to find out what finishes and features were called in the catalog and for images of obscure models or models at a particular point in time.

Anyone know what site I am talking about? Is it still in operation (which means my search fu has failed)? URL?

Thanks.

Hello frono,

You probably are referring to: http://www.vintageguitarandbass.com/

I think they have. I used to have it bookmarked, and had to search for it again recently myself.
