Me too. I always label both sides of the tag so I don't have to flip it around.

I've been using blue painters tape also but need to get more organized. Dealing with moving now. So some of these are in here just to get them out of the house during the move. I have a second storage unit (which is a sign of too many guitars and amps) but I can walk into that and it is much more organized. I need to "thin the herd" !!!

The paper tag system sounds like a winner.
