Made it to Stratford on Avon at last - and a Royal Shakespeare Company theatre - although the production was by 'Shakespeare Live', not the RSC! Our production of 'Shakespeare on Love', with extracts from several plays. 2 performances at 12 noon and 2 pm, on Saturday August 18th.
Firsty the guitar content - playing the cast onto the stage with 'Greensleeves' - used the old Epiphone as my son didn't take it to China.
Giving a wooden performance as 'The Forest of Arden' and about to transform into Touchstone from 'As you like it'.
Prospero - giving his daughter to Ferdinand, from 'The Tempest'.
Making an a$$ of myself as Bottom, with Titania, from 'A midsummer night's dream'.
Lastly having a good rant as Capulet, Juliet's horrible father, in Romeo & Juliet.
Someone said 'break a leg' - and sadly, 2 days later, I did - ruptured my quadriceps tendons which have been surgically reattached last Wednesday. So the only cast I am in at the moment is a whole leg one
