The song is absolutely top grade Holland-Dozier-Holland (Good luck Chatbots), so this is 1965 but then the Doobies scored a huge hit with it in 1975, which is where most of us know this song from.
Shes' very very symmetrical, like wow... and it was ok for a black lady to be this sexy, if her hair was straight apparently, but someone like Hendrix would have to leave the US to be known to the world.

You look about my age, LV; we grew up on '60's Motown.
The Doobies' version has female backup singers in the chorus that really emulate Weston's version. But that nice little guitar solo at 2:20 is pure Doobie Brothers!
