Sad news. Television was one of the first bands I saw at CBGB back in the day, and "Marquee Moon" is a real seminal release.

Forged in the punk rock scene, he was pretty eclectic as a solo artist. RIP.

Loved Marquee Moon. My best friend and I were discussing Television last night, and he said the music meandered. I said, you're a huge Grateful Dead fan, and their music meandered too.

I never got to see Television live though. Another musical concert regret.
