Biggest oversight (IMO) of the R'n'R HOF. Should be in if only for forming the Hawks (AKA the Band). Also had a sense of humor about himself, one of his LPs was called "A Legend in his Spare Time." Maybe he's been left out because he's spent most of his career in Canada.

So many great artists and bands came out of Canada in the 60's and 70's! Ronnie was one of them. Not to mention giving The Band their start. And of course Robbie Robertson of The Band was Canadian. Gordon Lightfoot, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Randy Bachman, Geddy Lee and many more great artists were from Canada. Ronnie will be missed.

“The Hawk!” One of the original Rockabilly artists from the late 50’s. He was born and raised in Arkansas, and began his career there. But he found success playing in Canada. He played Honky Tonks for most of his life. He began playing Rock and Roll back in the era of pompadours and leather jackets! He carried the torch for a long time. RIP.

Ronnie gave a smoking performance of “Who Do You Love?” in the film “The Last Waltz” with the Band.

hearth_man,
You mentioned Randy Bachman, but omitted Burton Cummings?????
He was, and is one of the greatest musical talents this country ever produced.
