I remember her when I was growing up in the 50's and 60's, along with Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Frankie Lane, Dean Martin, Peggy Lee, and Ella Fitzgerald. They don't make them like her anymore, she was a giant and will be missed.

Up until a couple of years ago, she had a summer home the next town to us. Occasionally, you would see her around town. A real nice lady. RIP
