I agree, Chris! We've just gotten hammered with all these people passing. RIP Glenn..... thanks for the music. Jeeze...... :upset:2016 has not been a kind year, so far.
Not really an Eagles fan, but that's still sad news. Chris, you are right, Bowie and Frey in a week - not good.

Lemmy at Christmas, Bowie and Frey in a week with Pete as well, There must be one hell of a party in Heaven tonight.

With Hotel California alone, he contributed to making this world a better place..... arguably one of the best all time songs ever written. RIP buddy and thanks.
I'm with you there Sandy, He didn't seem like a very nice person in either of those. Totally changed my perception of him and the Eagles. It's sad that he'd died, but I probably shouldn't have read Don Felder's book, or watched the recent Eagles documentary.

That's good to know, Neal. I really appreciate your sharing that information with us. I'm glad he had a chance to enjoy a family.
Maybe part of you has to be ruthless to get to the top and stay there. I also think he was as hard on himself musically as he was with the rest of the band and narrowed his own singing role so Henley's voice could expand and become the vocal brand of the band.
Lotta things happening at once back in the good old days; money, fame, girls, big egos, etc. Oh, I'm sorry, I meant to say Huge Egos! How could it not have blown up?
