Where can I find the serial number of my Rick? I’ve checked all the usual places…

Oh. I confess I thought you had a serial number and were not able to decode it.

For an electric "The serial number is generally located on the jackplate but can also be punched on the neck plate or on the bridge plate."

Sorry. Same confusion as Frono but he mentioned the usual places.

As Frono said, check the jack plate. That’s where it was on the one I owned.

Yes. I had a very convincing Greco copy once.

Yup, on the jack plate. If it's not there, I don't know what to tell you.

The "output jack plate" that is, a rather odd place to serialize an instrument.

I sort of recall it also being under the pick guard in the control cavity. Or maybe it was the model number located there.
