Great looking guitar. Reminds me of one I ALMOST picked up a few months ago. :(
But life goes on. Good score for you.

Enjoy it,

Nice guitar, Jeff. The 'burst is a bit darker than mine.

And yours has a blue label! (no, that's not an obscure brand of Canadian beer  ) Mine also has a blue label; I've never seen another one. Have you established the date of manufacture? Mine's a 1982.

Hi Ross. Mine looks darker than it is--think it has something to do with the photographer. Based on the SN mine looks to be a 1981. I noticed that yours, like mine, did not have the Chesterfield logo on the headstock. That came as a surprise to me. I was happy to see yours was like mine.

Hi Jeff:

That other sunburst guitar in the photos is Cuthbert's. I haven't posted photos of mine (too slothful :D ), but mine is virtually identical to Cuthbert's. However, yours & mine are the only Guilds I've ever seen with blue labels.

To my knowledge, D-25s do not have the chesterfield logo, and the "Guild" is silkscreened, rather than inlaid. The D-25 is relatively unadorned, compared to models with higher numbers which have more decorative inlays on head, neck, soundhole etc. Nonetheless, it's a great-sounding instrument! :D It's the only acoustic that I own, and it's all that I need :D

cheers

Mine appears to be a 1995, and the "Guild" is inlaid, as forum member gatorguild can attest, having recently given it a "once over" in his store.
