Red Starfire III's are selling fast or Cordoba isn't making enough of them

I don't know about the rest of the NS line. But red Starfire III's seem to be selling fast.
Sweetwater is out and isn't getting any more until next year.
Musician's Friend is out of stock.

I offered to give a son mine.Now I find out I have to wait until next year to
get one for myself.

I think I'll be buying at Sweetwater from now on if I can't find it locally.
This last time -- they went the extra mile. I ordered the SF III and also
a BOSS Octo-pedal. Guitar arrived - pedal didn't.

I mentioned it to my sales guy. But I was traveling and had no opportunity
to raise a fuss. A week later, THEY CALLED ME. Find the pedal yet?
I said 'no'. It could not fit in the tight Guild boxes w/o me noticing.
And there was no separate box with it.Next day - overnight mail -
a BOSS Octo-pedal was delivered to my door.

It''s gonna take me awhile to figure this guitar out.
I won't see it again until Oct/Nov. I'm leery of that bridge.
And I still haven't plugged it in yet. Son seems to be veering toward a Tele.
So it looks like I get to keep it.

Confirming my suspicion, MF has the model listed as a 'Best Seller'.
O.O.S. for another month.
