One of my "you can only have 5 desert island records" is his The Heart of Saturday Night. Doesn't matter how many times I've heard it, I still listen to it front to back.

One of the greatest debut albums ever released, and one that turned my musical world on its ear the first time I heard it. Amazing how anyone could write such an achingly beautiful song as this at such a young age.

GJ, "New Coat of Paint" is amazing. I like him when he sings right and he's younger. That other song I can't listen to. It's just .... I just can't. But as I said, one of the best song writers ever!!

Prefer his less traditional stuff. I'll be the outlier and say Bone Machine is my favorite.

Cold Water is one of my faves. He has a lot of great songs.
When I want to flood my eyes with tears, and get that knot in my stomach, the one that bends you forward, I do not believe I have ever found a song that gets me there quicker than this one:
