I just want to say that the quality of Let's Talk Guild website and its community is head and shoulders above any similar type of website. Kudos to the founder, administrators and now GAD who maintains the website....just saying. Also, the membership interacts with one another in the spirit of the website.

It is the best moderated site I have ever participated in.

The strong, cordial, no nonsense tone (except for nonsense that is just playful fun) from the top filters down into the community and creates a general air of amity.

The rules are clear or quickly become clear as one explores and participates in the site.

Site justice is not arbitrary and is fairly administered in a clear and well explained manner.

I may have had my wrists smacked once or twice, but the experience did not sting so much when I understood what I was guilty of and why and how I was guilty.

Great site. Great mods. Great community.

(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)/(y)(y)(y)(y)(y) 5 out of 5 Thumbs-Up!

Agreed. I was "moderated" only once. I put that in quotes because the message delivered was so friendly and respectful that it didn't feel like I was being moderated, but rather given an "FYI" or "heads up" instead. I took the appropriate corrective action and the whole thing was painless, done and forgotten (well, until now). The mods' work can be pretty thankless and they do a great job here in front of curtain as well as behind the scenes.

12 String, how do you cope with the wide neck of the 12 string? I have owned a number of them, and always acquire one when I think I need it....but not before long, I realize that it's just too limiting to my style. What to do? I think the answer is to have a Guild 12 string in my stable, but my wife will protest.

Way beyond head and shoulders above, I say.
Best by far.
Hats off, kudos, congrats to all responsible!

Oh, I've had my wrists slapped a few times. Maybe more than a few. But I earned the scolding in those cases. I'm just so glad to have LTG to participate here on the regular!! (y)(y)

Until you've had your wrists smacked (and continued to interact) at least once, you're not really part of the "group hug" yet. LTG certainly is both civil and fun. Thanks GAD for keeping caulk in the cracks!

My only complaint is that I spend way too much time here and it's actually made me socialize a bit and even make a few friends and all that goes against my curmudgeon nature.
Rich, I thought you keep your Guild way of thinking alive here on LTG. The more time you spend on LTG the more you are human-ly Guild-esk.
