Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum so thanks for adding me.
I have recently purchased a Guild M-40 but lately I have noticed some cracks on the varnish.. Mostly on th bottom of the top, around the bridge and all around the biding.
It seems also that the table is slightly domed. And this i confirmed by the fact that my strings are higher than before.
It's really strange as the guitar as always been stored inside the original case with the humidifier kept moist. And there are no brutal change in temperature in the room where the guitar is stored..
I'm afraid the guitar has suffered irreparable damages. It was a guitar I've bought to travel with and now I'm afraid if I continue to play it the situation is going to get worse.
Any advice ? Have you ever seen such thing ?
Thanks a lot
