While expecting delivery of my guitar today I have never, with all the guitars delivered over the years, received delivery earlier than 4pm. I left a note on the front door with instructions and my signature. As I am getting my dogs settled I hear a faint noise at the front door, amd my hounds start to go crazy. I open the door, and standing before me is the UPS guy with my new GSR T-500...at 8:30am!

Pictures will follow later tonight.

It's later tonight...

7 years old and ready to rock!

I have never played the original T-500 or DE-500, but I can't imagine that either sound any better.

Re: NGD...

That would have been nice, but unfortunately my job does not allow me that much flexibility. 8:30pm can't get here soon enough today!

Wow, what a beauty! How fun!

Nice strap, too.

It just dawned on me how to acquire a Guild strap...

...buy a new guitar! Duh!

Do you mind me asking how you like the bridge setup?

I played it for a while last night, and there was nothing about the bridge setup that i had any issues with. I will likely bring it in for slight adjustments after it acclimates a bit, but out of the box it really did play quite well, and the pickups are very articulate and balanced as all of the original Franz pups i have ever played are. Are there any specifics you have questions about?

Business in the front, party in the....................Jahn, shouldn't this model then be called the Guild, Mullette? (Class uptown spelling, mind you)
