Hi Boz and welcome. The BB software allows you to post only the web address of a photo. You need to open an on-line photo / web account ... Photobucket for one but there are several others. You open an account and upload the pics from your hard drive into the account ... the pic files are stored on the web. The photo host will provide you an 'IMG' / image web address telling the BB software where to go and look for your photo.

When you are drafting a post, you paste the 'IMG' address into you draft post ... click Preview to make sure that you got the right address and that the BB software is able to read what you pasted in ... but ... first things first; open a web photo host account somewhere. You might bungle the first one or two attempts ... if so, that will put you in the company of about half the members here  Again, welcome to LTG. CJ

You're welcome and if all else fails, get a teenager to help you. They are very good with IT / 'puter issues.

I am in the process of trying Image Shack right now. I am having problems with the size of the picture. I am resizing them now, should be able to post pictures soon! Thanks! I could have learned a few new songs in the time it's took to learn how post pictures.

Most of the web hosts express size in terms of 800 X 600 and so on. Unless you have a picture of an ocean liner, try something like 600X400 or, if they do inches, say 6" X 4". There is a little technique to it ... think of it as learning to play the kazoo or the ocarina. 8)

I finally posted pics before I read your reply. I did post mine 800x600. Let me know how they look so I will know next time to make them a little smaller. Thanks for the input & advice! All this typing, posting,& resizing is harder than learning how to play the guitar was! It's made me thirsty too! Think I'll have a beer and read for little while, the LTG forum of course!
