Registration just opened for one of the most fun experiences it's possible to have! This will be the 4th year for me and I'll never miss it if I can help it. You can take classes or just come for the shows... all skill levels are welcome.

Check out the faculty list!

Love going to Port Townsend for any number of reasons and I just might have to add this one to my summer calendar.

Thanks for the heads-up,
The other Joe

**Wish they'd get their act together on the Keystone ferry!

I'd love to do one of these workshops. Some day -- when I'm done paying tuitions for kids.

I was having a senior moment when I mis read this. I thought it was advertising the Pete Townsend acoustic blues festival, which I guess would feature all sorts of accapella singing after smashing up all the Guitars....

No way I'd take my Guild to THAT festival

The site of the Blues festival is where the movie "An Officer and a Gentleman" was filmed.
I've spent a few nights at the Tides Inn in PT where the best 'acting' of the entire movie was done. Oh, Debra!

Joe
Amen to that!

Yes, there is a large campground right on the Fort property, although reservations fill up early for summer. Also dorm-style as well as up-scale accommodations are available.

Again (and to be totally redundant in hopes that the ferry system is watching), if the Keystone ferry is back to running the way it used to, it's an easy day trip from here to PT.
Ah, for the old days and the "old" Keystone ferry! No reservations needed, just come on down and we'll get you there!

Those were the days,
