The meaning of Christmas has been almost completely lost. After watching this I want to bleach my eyes out.

I know there are good people out in the world but I've grown more cynical with age.
Peace
I don't get it either, unless they're crazed lemmings!! It's probably mass hypnosis, induced by endless hours staring at the evil one-eyed moving-picture box.dreadnut said:Some people here were camped out in tents on the sidewalk outside Best Buy since Monday afternoon waiting for the Black Friday sale. The big draw: a 42" HDTV for $200.00
Agreed. I don't watch the news, or read the paper.... I know I'm a bit of an isolationist but, it's keeps my slippery grip on happiness.Bikerdoc said:Another example of why I live a semi-reclusive lifestyle. I pick guitar with a few friends and travel on my motorcycle when I need to get away and take a deep breath.
I know there are good people out in the world but I've grown more cynical with age. I'm thankful everyday for climbing out of bed every morning and the life I have. The spirit of the holidays has become a solely personal thing; beyond the media BS and the retail hype which I don't see getting any better in the future.
