Just realized I may have posted to the wrong place before so here it goes :
Hi all, newbie here.
I have been playing for over 30 years, mostly electric, and now dicovering a new love and passion for acoustic (I hear old age does this to you :? ).
I also have lots of love and passion for vintage instruments, and I recently bumped into an ad for the sale of 1972 D25.
Went to see the seller, saw the guitar, heard it, and snatched it away as fast as I could.
Love at first sight, I own 2 other acoustics (Yam and Gibson) like the Yam (use it mainly when I work on some new things and pattern that requires hours of practice to save the Dove's finish ), love the Gibson, which is probably why I never looked any further in the acoustic world, but when I heard that D25, I immediately knew what that "Guild" thing was all about, and now I want a D55 and many more Guilds
Now to the question: My 72 is an all mohogany body flat backed and the label says D25BR, I had never seen or heard of the "BR" models, is it the way they called the 25 in 72 or does it mean something else pertaining to the model?
Thanks all in advance!
