It doesn't seem to have (remnants of) the small lettering.
Your amp might be a bit younger than those Masteramps. Sometime at the end of the 50ies that name dropped from the line. But I really don't know. Send an e-mail to Hans Moust in Breda via his webpage, he has all the catalogs from the 50ies to tell you what amp model exactly you bought.

Also our member M (matsickma) had tons of info about those old amps but he has not checked in yet here at LTG after the move to the new server. Maybe somebody has his contact details to check what he is up to?

Just because they look so cool, here's another picture of a 1954 (?) Masteramp, owened by our member skinny:

Hard to tell, Ralf, until we can get some date codes off the components. Guild was so inconsistent. My 59 99J has a Masteramp badge.

I have a secret purchase to make, but after that, I definitely want one of these for the collection.

Currently enjoying the magical country of Iceland for a wonderful holiday, but the little amp has arrived and it sounds wonderful. Will post pictures and impressions later!
