I see a couple (maybe half a dozen) flat-backed D-25s from the early 70's pop up on eBay each year... often in better condition for a better price. At those starting prices, I'd pass on these two... unless you are particularly looking for a '68 (which I think is the first year for the 25?).

There are a couple of old (1968) D25's currently listed on ebay ... Neither are perfect by any means, and both are in the upper range (I think) price-wise for the model, but they are early-issue D25's... Any comments?
Hi John and welcome; well ... you said it ... neither are perfect but both sellers are looking to start the bidding not too far from where a lot of people might expect to see it end. And a fine group of Guilds you have there. 8)

Yep, and, Yep. Saw a D17ch on the bay yesterday around $300.00. Looked to be in VGC. Much better buy in my opinion, and rarer.

I like the look on those two, myself, although the many cracks and issues make me wonder if their price is right. They ARE oldies, though, and mahogany tops. Love them, myself, and especially like the inlaid Guild on the headstock (mine is a 74, and it's painted). If I didn't have one, I'd sure consider.
