Yes - the few hours filming will probably show me for all of 2 seconds  I had to shave, short haircut, dress for 1938 rich Nazi - and fling myself under a table as some shooting starts

However, you may want to think twice before boarding...
Hope my local PBS affiliate broadcasts Dr. Who!

Condolences on the fuzz loss, but at least now I'll know what to watch for!

Fab; I watch it on BBCAmerica nowadays; they carry some good Brit stuff(Torchwood, Being Human, Life On Mars/Ashes To Ashes....), & some of the dreck.

Thanks for the tip Mando but unfortunately I don't subscribe to digital cable, which in my area provides the only access to BBCAmerica. If my local PBS station doesn't carry it, perhaps YouTube will come to the rescue...

No, this is what he wore when he performed in Stanley Park.

Cooool, I know a movie star - sort of

Still waiting to see if I appear in Pirates of the Carribean - on stranger tides when it is released in May - if I do it will be in the opening scene

Look out for...

It's out but have not seen it yet. Did your appearance make the Final Cut?

No close ups for sure :( If at all, it will be a nano second at the back of a huge panoramic crowd scene - I'll have to wait for the DVD and freeze frame it to check  However I enjoyed the film - pity I wasn't acting with the mermaids

So the clog dancers can't sneak up on people?

In the absence of a definitive answer from Jerry, it could be done as a way to protect an area from wear due to increased foot traffic or to help keep costumes cleaner. Except for the two trailer like structures, it reminds me of the things filmmakers to do make a modern road surface appear to have a surface from an earlier age. Laying down some kind of barrier and then covering it with the desired surface is usually the way to go. using a barrier makes things easier to clean up when filming is over and protects the modern surface from things that might possibly require a repair to be made.
