This is totally off the cuff, improvised, fan in the background, level could be higher, recorded on my cell phone....but still, if you listen hard.... it ain't bad..especially with as forgiving and tolerant a group as we are...the strings are J.P. bluegrass and as you can hear they are still, stretching, I do know how to tune a guitar.. well, enjoy it for what it is.... :D Steffan

 That A50 of yours just keeps on giving us entertainment and reasons to say WOW 8) .........Sounds like some fine noodling to me down here! She looks great ...Outside and Inside......and now, the claims of her sonic qualitys are well supported.
Good to hear you Steffan.

Yeah, and I understand you can even make phone calls with those things!...
That is just a rumor. Don't believe everything you hear.

Listening to Steffan's excellent "noodling", however, has caused me to want to dig my phone out of the drawer. Recording a Guild using a mobile communication device...now *that* is putting technology to good use!

Thanks guys, you'll notice that was done at 2 am...I had to keep it very quiet so as not to bother the guy who has his bed room right above my living room, and has phoned me a few times to not play, so to keep the peace I'm trying to be responsible, no easy task, middle of the night music is always the best, right? Also, www.box.com gives you 4 gigs of free storage and you can buy more if you want, you can just post a link to share a file with folks, pretty neat....so keep tuned  for another noodling session at regular strumming/picking volume, and you can get a better idea of this little sweetheart....seems to record rather well though, you think?....

Perhaps he would consider selling timeshares. I can think of a few of us who could really use some middle-of-the-night acoustic guitar background music to get some actual sleep. :D

She sounds like a beaut. Lovely tone from those strings. What gauge?

A beaut. she is :!: I've lowered the action a bit at the nut, and next I'll hand intonate the saddle. The strings I had on were John Pearce Bluegrass. 3 highest are light, lower 3 are mediums....these sound awesone on my dread...but I tried another favorite of mine, Dean Markley Vintage 12-54 on the A50....and they are right at home, sounds great. better than the JP...on this guitar. Tom also likes them a lot...worth trying in my opinion...I'll get some sound up before too long with the Dean Markleys....regards, Steffan
