Hi,
newbie here. Just packed up my new guild blues 90 guitar. My first guild experience and I'm loving it so far :)

Unf. the seller never bother to mention that the guitar came without a case. Evilbay :-(
So, now I'm looking for a replacement case, as my chances of finding a guild one is slim to none where I live.
Does anyone know of any replacement case that will fit the guitar? Perhaps one of Epiphones many?

Thanks!

Thanks Hans.

I live in Norway. My guess is that there are probably a handful of Bluesbirds in the whole country, so ...

Hi, and welcome

It wasn't too difficult to guess your nationality (do not google "smalahove", anyone).
Now we know there are at least two Blues 90s in Norway!

Hello smalahove.

I read on another forum some time ago, that an Epiphone Alleykat / Wildkat case is a perfect fit for a deArmond M72.

How is this relevant ?

Well, I have a Bluesbird ( and a Blues 90 ) and an M72. The M72 is a perfect fit in the Bluesbird / Blues 90 case.

So, the above-mentioned Epi case will fit your Blues 90.

Well, if you can't find an Epiphone Wildcat case, drop me an e-mail and I should be able to help you out with an original Guild case.

Sincerely,

Welcome smalahove!

I bought a Blues 90 with no case, and after searching a lot for a case, and finding one that looked like it would fit but was too small. I arrived at this one. It's still a wee bit tight, but after the guitar spends some time in it, it will contour to the contours. I guess the only problem is that maybe you can't buy Gator in Norway. If that's the case and you can't find one, I'd be glad to help.

I've also heard that Gibson ES-339 cases fit Blues 90s. Maybe you could find one of them?

There was just a smalahove sighting on "The Amazing Race". It was the "Fast Forward" and much to there chagrin, the two doctors chose the fast forward and one of them was a vegetarian! They had to completely finish their "serving". She made it, but I don't think she allowed it to stay down too long!

Thanks guys. Much appreciated :)

I'll check the epiphone and gator cases first, as they should be (more) easily available.

Just remember that standard size Les Paul style cases are too small. You need something a little bit bigger that will fit the 14" lower bout on the Bluesbird/90.
