I can see it now - guitar sales skyrocket because of their auxiliary use in anti-terrorism and self-defense and then we get regulations about bringing them on planes or crossing borders with them. (Oh wait - we have those now, at least if the guitar might have Brazilian rosewood...)

Just think, if he had had that Guild when he clobbered the attacker, he might have save the police their efforts, later. Definitely the case if it had been a Westerly.

Question is: what would we have done? As a human being I guess I would have done the same (not even mentioning it happened in Israel where I have strong ties). But as guitar collector and Guild lover, I'm not sure I would have destroyed the F30-R I chased all over Europe
