Santa came a few weeks early for me. Yay! I was negotiating various trade deals for this Guild when the seller offered a cash sale of $450 shipped and paypaled... sounded very fair to me. From his photos I was expecting a powder blue color, and was pleasantly suprised to see it's actually a seafoamish green. I really like the color. Very good condition as well.
Any info you guys can provide as to the year and originality I'd love to hear. Here's what I was told:
1982 T250 Serial HC100914
Seller was told by the previous owner it may have been shown at Guild's booth at NAMM 1982
He thinks the pickups are original. (EMG)
Seller wasn't sure if the gold (brass?) bridge plate and control plate are original.
Nut looks like graphite.
Am told the volume and tone controls are in the reverse location.
Case looks original or at least correct.
Haven't plugged it in yet, but plays nice out of the box. I'm very happy so far. Can't wait to clean it up and plug it in.
Thanks for looking and any info. Here's some quick photos:
