I thought id take some photos of my new s50 I picked up this week. Im pretty happy with my pair of guilds, such amazing guitars. They aren't too common in Australia so im thankful ive come across them at the right times.

That is a Beautiful Pair of Guilds! Love the different sunbursts next to each other. Nice Grab on the S-50! I'm sure others have already welcomed you as I see you joined the forum in March, But I'm going to say it anyway, Welcome to LTG. Nice pair for sure.:adoration:

I'm not a real big electric guy and play 95% acoustic. But, I did pick up a S 50 and a S 100 awhile back and they are really nice and fun guitars. Keep tryin' to relive my youth I guess but I'm pretty sure that's not in the cards.

Anyway, congrats on your purchase, you have a couple really sweet ones to pamper and enjoy.

Nice welcome to the club! I own 2 S-50s they are 60s and have the same pickups as your polara s-100. Almost went for your model S-50 but the one I played had a "super slim fast action" neck that was a bit too aggressive for me. Killer killer guitars though. I own a matching JS/jetstar guild bass from 1970 as well. Killer. Congrats and enjoy.

Yeah the s50 neck is much slimmer than the polara. Both great in their own way, but I prefer the chunky polara neck, it feels like home.
