Booooo! NGD's should be akin to a worker holiday, because let's face it, they're not going to get much out of us when ours minds are six strings away.

Can't wait to see the photos. Way cool, drc!

My 1986(?) Guild T-250
This guitar was a bit of a surprise to me, it plays and sounds allot better than I expected. The neck fits my hand perfectly, it plays nice and low without allot of buzz and EMG's sound amazing! I'm happy!. However I dont think I will be keeping it though, more on that later.

so what style of knob do ya think was originally on the toggle switch?

My T-200, which looked remarkably close to this, had a black strat-style switchtip.

My T-250 (much more play worn) does also.

Interesting that it has an embossed Guild logo in the bridge. My T-200 did not. It also had a plain black neckplate.

The Lady Liberty neck plate was a special logo and was only authorized for use by companies that contributed to the Statue of Liberty refurbishment initiative. I think it only applied to the year the Statue of Liberty was re dedicated: 1986.

I had a black T200 that had a similar configuration as yours. Mine had the Guild logo stamped into the BACK of the bridge plate. The next time you swap strings pull off the plate and see if yours has the similar "mistake".

I don't have it anymore, but AFAIK, there was no logo, as I know I pulled the bridge to swap pickups and back at one point.

The Liberty neckplate was actually made overseas, IIRC.
