This just came in yesterday from Sweetwater and I'm in love!
I've been without any type of hollow body or semi hollow body so I had to remedy that. I tried a Gretsch about a year or so ago and it just didn't work for me. So I've been looking for quite some time. After playing a bunch of stuff at Sam Ash including more Gretsch, lots of Epiphone and a couple Gibson I decided on this Guild.
The thing was set up pretty nice out of the box which is the norm from Sweetwater although the action is a little higher than I like. The PUP's sound nice which is good because they are a non-standard size...I would compare then to filtertrons or hilotrons. I like the sound a lot something totally different than anything else I have...I'm guessing everyone on the Guild forum knows all this already...
