Tacoma made D-50 Bluegrass Special in Antique Burst. Not sure the year,...I think it's an '07. Just beautiful, sounds amazing. Gonna get it outfitted with a K&K Pure Western Mini soon. Pics:

Welcome probos, and that's one nice D-50 you have there. The only flaw -- only flaw -- that I can see in it is that the trussrod cover is upside down. I'm going to beat the eagle-eyed Hammer  to the punch and point that out. Normally it is he who spots it, even in the blurriest of photos, instead of a decent headstock photo like yours.

Anyway, sweet guitar and welcome aboard. You don't, by chance, have an S-100 to go along with that avatar, do you? :D

Yowzaaa!!! Very nice D-50. Also a fan of the K&K pups. In fact just ordered one of the new K&K's with the phase/volume control.

I heard an ugly rumor that mine might be ready the end of this week.

What a beauty congrats. I just bought a '09 D40 Bluegrass Jubilee last week and I also bought a K&K PWM for it. Its an amazing guitar especially for the money!! I would like to try a D50.

Very handsome guitar . . . oh, & the last photo shows the truss rod cover is NOT upside down, btw.

And twocorgis, the notification that your guitar will be finished in one week, simply means that it will be ready in half the time it has been since they told you it would be done in two weeks . . . I forgot, how many months has that been?

Beautiful guitar.

One thing though, I think even with the K & K p'up, you'll probably get a lot of feedback when you try to play it through that HiWatt...

Given the rather surprising variety of semantic distinctions around the country, may I humbly suggest you make sure their version of "ready" bears at least a close correlation with your version of "ready"?
It might be simpler to ask 'em for with pics. Puts 'em on the spot too. :D

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

Funny about the truss rod cover,....think I'll leave it like that. It's a great guitar. I was thinking of getting the LR Baggs IMix, but the reviews of the PWM (plus some demos) have convinced me. I like the fact that it's passive.
