NGD: 2003 Bluesbird

Beautiful 2003 (thanks Hans) Black on Black BB. From what I can tell, it differs from my Westerly '99 in weight (lighter), body size (thinner), and probably neck (thinner). The back is black unlike the woodgrain of the '99. The sound is solid. Plenty of power and great LP/Humbucker sound like my '99. I still have to put it through its paces, but I dug the sound right away. Lucky it arrived ok. They used a good oversized box, but used about 2 Sunday papers as packing. A great find and my first Corona Guild.

Thanks! No, it's not matte black but gloss black for top, back, sides, and back of neck. It's also crazy light in weight! Definitely lighter than the '99. I see that Gibson/Epi are making chambered bodies for some of their Les Paul models these days.....

I thought it was matte as well!! How did you photograph it without crazy reflections?? Golly, what a beauty!! I thought it was the first murdered out Bluesbird I'd ever seen!! :encouragement:
