If the lead pup is fixed. :-/ I can see one of these with locking tuners, graphite nut, and a roller bridge, just like I had done to my DeArmond. I can also see me throwing the reissue Franzes I bought into one.

In red I was able to resist, but in black there may be a NGD in the house of Dane.
I really like that look on the SF line.

Cool, black guitars are cool. Now, if they do the Starfire III in black with two white-topped DeArmonds, I'll even buy one.

It's funny. I was always aware of the smudges and fingerprints on my black B4E and they drove me crazy when I spent more time looking than playing. Luckily for me they are not offering the black option on the NS Starfire Bass so I don't even have to consider swapping.

So cool! I must have a Black Starfire V. :witless:
There's now a fixed stop tail in place of a floating bridge on the Starfire IV’s in the new price list. In black, emerald green, antique burst.

Found this picture on Facebook today showing a black Starfire 5 and what appears to be a natural maple Starfire 4 with the stop tailpiece.
