Why does it say in Posting Permissions that I "may not post attachments" and does this apply to images, although it also says that the code is on. I think this major moving (mine not LTG's) is warping my brain a bit. (LOL here)

I can understand if it's too damned many bird pics, but I'm mainly just....

I'm pretty sure that's in the literal sense of posting an attachment like you might to an email, like a pdf file.

Not sure if this helps or confuses... An attachment is a file you upload to LTG and attach to your post. It differs from a link that you embed in a post but references a file (or image) hosted elsewhere. The key is where the file is stored.

Best I could figure is that an attachment requires uploading a file to LTG. Like the old forum that would require paying for net space which is not necessary if you simply use the
tags. So in the end you need an ISP to store the image and then post the url. Does that make sense?
