Hello to all from South Fl. I have been lurking and trying to learn a little about these great guitars for a while and today I became the owner of an almost pristine Westerly bullt DV52. I was reading everything I could about them. I see they have quite a following. So far, mine sounds great!!!!! I am just beginning to get acquainted with her, I have only been playing for a little over a year but I have been through a bunch of guitars. I plan on keeping this one. I hope to learn a lot more. I have enjoyed many of your sound clips and links. Theres some really talented players here.

Regards,
Tony

Tony,
Welcome, from the Pacific Northwest.
You'll have lots of folks here drooling over your DV52.
I can't recall hearing anything bad about them so I'm sure you'll get mostly rave reviews.
You'll also find out quickly that we all enjoy pictures of each others guitars....it helps to activate the drool glands!

Enjoy the holidays and stay in tune,
Joe

Hi Tony and welcome to LTG. The SoFL section of LTG has members in Naples/Ft Myers, St Pete, Port Charlotte, Miami, another member and myself here in the Jupiter/Juno Beach area, and another ... although further up the coast, is an honorary member of the SoFL section because he is a cool guy.

Are you going to go to the Orlando Guitar Show next month? Some of the SoFL LTGers will be there; hope you can make it. Again, welcome to LTG!

Hi Tony,

Welcome. Congrats on the Guild!

I'm rather new here myself. It's a warm and friendly place, for sure. And with lots of helpfulness and knowledge, freely and generously given.

Hi Tony and welcome to LTG from West Central Florida (Tampa Bay). Congrats on the DV52. I played one a couple of weeks ago and I think the first thing I said after 5 minutes of playing is "Now this is a dread should sound like!"

Welcome again.

Now then, Orlando Guitar Show. Very interesting. Might just have to wheel the bike over there.

cheers

Hi Tony,
Welcome from beautiful but rainy Vancouver Island, B.C. Now tht you're a seasoned LTG'r, do you have any spare rooms this time of year for fellow LTG'rs? :D

Congrats on your DV52. Merry Christmas, etc.

Welcome Tony,
I can only warn you that these guitars cause an onset of OCD. If you were susceptible to any form, then your Guild collection will only grow from here. And.... remember, when your wife asks the inevitable question, "How many guitars do you need?". The only correct answer is "one more".
