Thanks a lot guys ! That was almost too quick ! Been looking for this info for 40 years ! Was a great guitar - too good for a 3=chord slinger like me; I switched back to bass around "68, better fit. The band was the Ivees (guess 'cause there were 4 (IV) of us, mostly Jimmy Reed, Tommy Tucker "60's Doo-Wop, Chuck Berry, lot's of I VIm IV V7, , fun stuff we kept busy. - I could handle it o.k., I wanted to play bass but I had a better guitar and reverb and played better guitar then the guitar player, I showed him stuff on my Kay bass and we went from there. After basic training I got back and was more or less kicked out of the band, but got back to bass in a trio in "68
