I just go the new Guitar Player and they review six of the new Standard Series from CT. Mostly positive reviews and even one Editor's pick award.

Need to grab that issue from the store. I stopped subscribing to Guitar Player a long time ago when I got too old for most of what they were reporting on.

Sorry, I didn't see the previous posts when I made mine. Sllightly off thread; I saw an eBay listing for a 1972 F212XL for $1,800. Who would even consider that when a brand new one, which got a pretty glowing review, has a MAP price of $1,999 and a warranty? I loved the Westerly models too, but......

While I believe it's good that the new Guilds get some attention, I'm somewhat surprised to see the same photo in both the F-30R review (page 116) and the review for the F-50 (page 118).

Sincerely,

Hans Moust
