Yes it does, good question on the mic. Not a bad demo video.

Agreed! :D The mic looks like it may be a Rode NT5, but I'm really not sure.

I am sure I must have played one at LMG, but with the cacophony of all of us having too much fun, I cannot remember one from the other...

What do you mean "optimum for a fingerstyle guitarist..."? I bought the maple version of this guitar EXCLUSIVELY for playing fingerstyle. Its the loudest guitar I have ever owned. I put GHS 80/20 strings on it and it becomes even louder. I have the
burst version. I constantly get compliments on it.

...just reading from the printed review in the magazine, mate... :)

On the video it sounds really good to me! At LMG I was awestruck by
the beautiful sunburst maple guitars they had there, especially liking
the sunburst pattern on the sides and neck.

Taylor does that as well on their 600-series guitars in tobacco sunburst.
Unfortunately of the two of those I have tried, I found the piece overly
bright and not very balanced...a little concert-sized one sans cutaway was
slightly better. I'd love to play a 47 to see what its like in a quiet room.

Clearly as Doyle Dykes, Laurence Juber and Tommy Emmanuel all play
maple bodied guitars, there is something good there. Where is Guild
A&R, get one of these guys an F47 or F30, will ya...? :)

The great white north eh!
Just as an fyi I also saw another guild in an ad in this months guitar mag for a clip on strobe tuner attached to a Guild headstock with chesterfield inlay.

What a great line...Warm tones, muscular voice, and classic design.
I'm still enjoying my D50 with its warm tones, muscular voice, and classic design, too. Steffan
