First thing you do is walk into the boss's office and apologize as if he's you friend. "Hey sorry about calling so early, I know its a pain in the me when my kid gets woken up early. What's on the docket today?"
Absolutely correct. Or, maybe wait until "the right moment", according to just what's going on when you get there.

Just had another thought. TADA. Your'e better off with a boss who voices his opinions than you are with one who gunne sacks your every transgression. Best luck. :)
Griehund yer battin' 1000. Thank you, just 'cause it's inspirational to me too, and I can use a little of that right now.

Best of luck for the new job Vadim, I start mine Tuesday (we can compare first day notes if you like....)
Ian, didn't realize you hadn't started yet. I'm assuming they'll have you signing various employment forms for a while. Take that first day opportunity to make sure to get everything in writing, epsecially that bonus plan, if it is in writing.

Phew! I'm finally home from my first day working at a new place. It turned out quite alright (knock on wood 3 times :) ).

First thing I did when my boss turned up was to apologize about that early phone call and he didn't say anything about, obviously he forgot the whole situation. The coworkers are nice guys, very down-to-earth (knock on wood 3 times :) ).

So far so good. Got a lot to learn but it's an interesting job and unlike at my previous job there is room for improvement, for my personal professional growth.

I hope Ian's first day will be just as nice. Good luck, Ian!

"You've got to accentuate the positive

don't mess with Mr. in between"

Rock on! :) :) :) :)

Check it out here. As far as I know according to Miles from OFC there were only 2 of these made. And this one was meant for Glenn Campbell.

Thank you. But I seem to gravitate towards Guilds more and we didn't bond with it that much (so it mostly spends its days inside the case). So it's likely to get back to US in the near future.
