My T-100 had a horribly sticky neck. And since it already had a (somewhat ugly) neck repair I figured I would go ahead take the finish off. I sanded it down until I revealed a beautiful piece of mahogany. I used really fine sandpaper, and soaked it with a few consecutive layers of guitar honey. It turned out awesome, and its drop dead gorgeous. It feels incredible! like a shaved, naked leg. you can't even see the repair anymore. I just have a question about if its a good idea or not. I love it, but I'm from UT where its extremely dry all year. Now that the finish is gone is there more risk of warp? I spray it with guitar honey about once a week to keep it oiled. but I'm just not sure. any insight?
