I saw that the Vox AC-15 hand wired were out of stock at many places and that the prices were going up by a coupla hundy. So called around to a few dealers and found a new one in the box at 6% off the old list price.
So far it has been a really nice typical Vox "chimey" sound without fiddling with the controls too much, breaks up very smoothly when you push it.
It has 4 inputs; both high and low inputs for the normal channel and the top boost channel. The top boost channel has hot and cool modes that are footswitchable. So 3 different channels or modes, two of them footswitchable. The wattage can be switched between 15 watts and 7.5 watts. No tremelo or reverb on this one. Looking forward to play it at a rockabilly gig this weekend.
