I tuned the GAD-JF30-12 down a full step a couple weeks ago and resurrected playing Neil Young's, "My My Hey Hey". With the Bb harp and this tuning (and my voice similar to ole' Neil's), the crowd at The Port (on Buckeye Lake) were flicking their Bic's. That whole album is awesome...."I want to ride my lamb, from Peru to Amsterdam. I want to ride him good, in my old neighborhood". Neil Young is an incredible songwriter. Wonder if he has a Guild or two in his guitar collection!
I love my JF30-12, the neck and tone are great :D !!

I do a ton of Neil Young tunes. With the JF30-12 tuned down a whole step, Sugar Mountain and Pocahantus sound really good.
I first heard Sugar Mountain like back in 1970-71. It was the "B" side of the Heart of Gold 45 rpm. It was the only vinyl available for this tune and I wore it out.
Harvest and Rust Never Sleeps, are 2 of my favorite, but so is his self-titled and everybody knows this is nowhere. After the goldrush is awesome!!

If you haven't had the chance to hear Neil Young's "Live at Massey Hall" you are missing out. So many songs, now classics, that were brand new to him/us back then. Us meaning those of you around in the late 60's. Also, if you are a fan of Nils Lofgren, he has an album, Nils Does Neil is the title I think, covering Neil's classics. Lofgren played Neil's Martin on After the Gold Rush I believe. Neil gave Nils the Martin for his work and Nils uses it on the Nils Does Neil album.
