I know I have said this before but I am really happy with my 1992 X-170! Every day I play it I enjoy it more and more. My Gibson L-4CES is in Hoffman Guitars for a set up and I have been playing the X-170 everyday, I even get up early just to play it. It is really a versitle guitar with a great sound all it's own. I called up the guy I bought it from and told him how happy I am with it and I am sure he thought I was a little weird but I think he is glad it went to a good home. All I can say is WOW!!
Thanks john

There is much to be said for the comfort of a thinner body, and if it makes you want to play more often you'll be a better player.

I bought my x-170 on the basis that I read numerous quotes about this so-called "versitility"....... and they were right! I'm into a lot of heavy rock and blues type stuff, but can appreciate a great jazz sound (not yet ready to dive into those waters yet though). When I hooked it up to my dad's AC15 with tube screamer.....holy cow did it sound amazing!

Here is a x-170 in Jazz mode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IyiDeoWeyc
