as a companion piece to my post about the 1970 F30 SB, here's the 1987 Guild GF25 NT that was the subject of much discussion in another thread. this is the first guitar i ever bought for myself, back in 1989. i still have the store receipt in the case. 1987 is the first year they made the GF25 line...

That guitar is at the top of my personal 'wish list' so thanks for stirring up the GAS!!
Yours is a real beauty, and appears to be well taken care of and then some!

*That's also a great-looking chair for picking! What'll you take for the guitar AND the chair?

hmmm... package deal, huh? ;)

yeah, i did my best with the care. if you look closely at the second photo, you will see one gouge in the finish directly below the right side of the bridge. i was taking the guitar out of its case one day, and the lid fell onto the guitar. one of the metal tabs from a clasp bit into the front finish of the body and scraped for an inch or two. pissed me off! :x

i guess those are the things that give a guitar a personality and a history over time...

I hate it when that happens
But there's your 'character building' opportunity! The stories we all could tell about what made us into the characters we are! If anyone is lacking, I have enough to go around.

Yep, package deal, indeed,
Joe

I feel obligated, as a LTG brother, to tell you that that guitar will lead to nothing but trouble. Please take my advice and get rid of it asap. I would be happy to help you with that if you'd only just give me a call.

That's the first guitar I've seen on this site I actually wish I could try out... been pretty satisfied with the variety I already have in hand but man that neck looks just like my D25 and y'know it just calls out to me....and you were thinking of SELLING that?!??
