I liked Pandora for discovering "new to me" music. I gave up on it when it stopped finding new things or "misunderstood" why I liked a song. I do blame Pandora for my renewed interest in 70's funk and disco since. out of desperation, it kept suggesting anything that was recorded in the 70's in hopes I'd like something :)
So much great bass work there. Frequently I'll hear a name from that era mentioned in an interview or podcast and go to Spotify to listen to those parts specifically. Bernard Edwards (Chic) and Verdine White (EWF) for example. Don't fight the funk, Frono!

Well, I have a 6 CD changer in my car, I listen to albums on CD like I did for years with vinyl and a cassette deck in my car, etc. I know, I know, a dinosaur. But listening to a whole album in order is something I have been doing for decades, and still greatly enjoy.

Buying the physical copy of the music pays the artists the most as well.

Please don't judge me. Ah, WTH, go ahead and judge!

I remember when some decades ago a friend offered me a copy of a CD that he had riiped off the internet. I told him : "No Thanks, I'm member of TEOSTO ( equivalent of ASCAP ) and that if I want that album, then I go and buy it. He could not fathom it. At the time I had about 200 vinyl LP:s + maybe 50-100 CD:s. When am I going to have time to listen to them all ?

Sure - I listen to odd tracks of different musicians on YouTube and Spotify. I think that once in 6 months is ok for freebie - but if I like the music enough - then I go and by it as CD or vinyl - fair for both - I get to test if I really like it - if yes - the maker gets paid.

Enjoying Apple music...so much music. Out to the garage for workout, wanted some Springsteen...Apple has a 4 hr playlist..nice!

I found I like Dua Lipa's Levitating....

So far it sure seems to be worth 10 bucks a month.
