Hello Folks:

I'm not sure if I can post this kind of stuff here, if not, I'll understand...

I post here 'cause I love Country Blues and I guess a lot of you too...

And In case you don't know The Zomb Torrents (a free/registration required tracker, where you can download music files), I leave this link in order you can obtain this wonderful piece of history:

Mississippi John Hurt & Skip James

I think this deserves to be shared. That's my only motivation...

All my best wishes for this new year!

Kindly, B.

 What a great photo of two blues greats!! I haven't seen that one before.
One of my Christmas gifts was a 3 cd set of MJH ( quite likely, my favorite bluesman) and I am just so impressed with that man and his abilities all over again.
Skip James is another one I never tire of listening to.
Seeing them both in this photo is very cool.
Thanks Frosty

It's for free, but if you don't want to do it I can send you the songs via e-mail or upload the songs to some hosting service and publish the links here. What ever you want Pascal, just let me know what you decide... Anyway, PM Sent...

Great photo Frosty, thanks for posting it :D Long time without seeing this two gentlemen.

You're funny Joe

All the best,

B.

"The Complete Studio Recordings" Southern ?

Gets a lot of play here at Maison Coastie.

And, thanks for the great photo. Frosty. I'd never seen that before either.

Downloading. Slow, but I'll pick it up in the morn here at work. And thanks.
The liner notes on the CD "Avalon Blues", a collective tribute from people as different in style as John Hiatt and Bruce Cockburn, are a great read to get a picture of MJH. Sounds like one helluva likeable guy.

Looks like you shouldn't have problems to complete the download. If it does, send me a PM.

Didn't know about "Avalon Blues" I'll search for it! :D

All the best,

B.
