We saw Marty Stuart and the Fabulous Superlatives at a upstate NY festival weekend before last. They were really good and really fun. Some serious Telecaster twanging going down for sure.
But the point of my post is this. We were at the fest the day before and noticed they had a pretty old school PA that did not sound all that great. Marty's band the next evening had a completely different PA and it sounded fantastic. The story we heard was that Marty's sound guy had swung by the festival a few days prior to check things out and they decided they needed to bring their own sound reinforcement. Just a little thing I appreciated.
