I'm getting ready to spring for a PA, and I'm leaning toward the Passport 500 because of its convenience and the fact that it can record directly to a USB flash drive. There's a Mackie PPM608 on the bay right now that would be about half the price, obviously with no speakers, but I have speakers from the 70s. I'd have to use my Tascam DP-004 to record with it, and that's just one more thing to haul around-small as it is. Anybody have any thoughts on the two?
