M-75 Black pickup covers

I'm a proud owner of a new M-75 Aristocrat, which is a fabulous guitar in every way for me. The only thing I want to do to it is replace the white Franz pickup covers to black. I have searched high and low and can't seem to find black covers for the Franz pickups. Can anyone tell me where I could purchase black covers? Is there another company that has black covers that would fit. Thank you

Some of the early "dog-ear" Franz pickups came in black, but I can't recall ever seeing any of the "soap bar" ones in black. I think you might have to go the spray paint route, though I'm not sure how long that'd hold up.

Try vinyl dye. You can get it at an auto parts store. They aren't made in black.

You could buy a pair of the black dogear version on eBay, trim the dogears off, add a single hole for the cover fastener and you're good to go.
