Most complaints have to due with the view that the bridge pickups of Guilds small humbuckers is NOT well balanced to the neck pickup. There is discussions about the DC resistance of vintage and reissued pickups.

From my experience and POV all, most, or many Guild guitars of the 60's with the mini HB pup have that issue. At least all of the guitars that I owned with those pickups had that issue.

The tone control on the neck pups from the sixties have a 200k tone pot. That makes the neck pup much mellower than the bridge pickup. Both my 68 Starfire and my CE-100D with minibuckers have that same "feature". That is not the same as the output mismatch on the NS pups.
The high end NH guitars I own/have owned were obvious when plugged in.
As far as the top issue, GGJaguar had a NS Capri where the top was collapsed, due to the pickup route intruding into the bracing.

Guys… sorry… but if this CE-100D is fully original and in great shape like it seams to be… woao… I would say, it’s not to expensive… 2799€ is more a “good” price I would say 😄
… I’m more used to Gibson prices. A 1965 Guild CE100 in that shape, if original and healthy, is an awesome guitar 🤝 if you ask me.

Denis, did you get it? Looks lovely.
No, I did not get it. I had some doubts after my initial "enthousiasm".
It seems a nice guitar indeed but maybe even a bit too clean ? Maybe I would be afraid to play it.
Also 2799 Eur is a lot of money even if this a correct price.. I still follow it on Reverb.
Thing is I always buy a guitar because I really have/hear certain songs in my mind/head that I want to play on it. (A bit strange I know ;-) . Here I just don't see that very clearly...
Lastly my grandmother who I take care of - she lives with me- has some serious health issues and I could not just leave her to go test-play the guitar. I already have to leave her for work a few days per week. At that pricepoint I do not want to buy without playing first either.
