Found one in natural at Guitar Center for $800 (plus 80 in tax). really fuzzy photo and I might be crazy, but it looks like it has gold hardware? really hard to tell.

I've let 3 great guitar center deals slip through my fingers in the last 3 weeks by waiting on them.

Another member scored the DeArmond Bass that I saw and decided to sleep on. (CONGRATS, by the way - looks like a great steal!) I waited because I'm not really a bass player and my starfire reissue should be fine.

Then there was the heartbreak of sleeping on the Black M75 for $999. but once again, the photo was fuzzy and I just couldn't tell if it would be a good buy or not.

And finally, just within the last couple of days there was a cherry burst 72 S-90 for only $499! It was gone before I could even hit "buy". I mean it was there, then 5 minutes later it was gone.

So I'll give the 73 a try, but I'll let everyone here know if It's not my flavor. I have a 30 day return at Guitar Center. but if it's not to my liking and I don't lose a penny, I won't mind passing it on to the members here.

I'll post pics when I pick it up!

I didn't think any S-100s from the 70's had gold hardware, but the photo sure makes it look like it. I'll post it up i na few hours when I have a chance.
